a teeny snippet.

Oops. I just idly hit a button on the side of the printer in the computer lab here on Houghton 1...it happened to be the power button. When I turned the printer back on, it whirred continuously for 30 seconds. It reminded me of my brain...except it's not warming up; it's already overheated from all the whirring it's been doing for the past week...few weeks......nine months.

From August 18th, 2010 to June 8th, 2012, I will have spent only 16 days at home. Those 16 days were also the only real break I had since I spent my two-week spring break were on tour with the Women's Choir.

But even the other 278 hectic and never-homework-free days were equally AMAZING! Some reasons that come to mind are: feeling at home in Chicago, living with my 3West girls, traveling with WCC, making amazing friends (including a best friend I'm rooming with this fall!), loving my roommate Jamie more and more as the year went on, gaining experience in ministry, learning music theory, having professors who care, and a billion other things.

Where I am right now:
1) After the worst night of this semester, my entire room got packed up in one night with a friend's help. God made so many details fall into place with packing space and storage. :)
2) I've changed a lot since August...I would hope at least! This place and these people have turned my entire life upside down in the best way possible. :)
3) In 1 day and 8 hours, I'm flying to Israel with WCC.

Most of you are just going to have to wait to talk to me in person to find out more. I can't possibly say everything I want to in a blog post.

And I have to get to bed. xO Goodnight!
